Jeu-Dit: the French-speaking board game talk show to discover on YouTube and as a podcast

In March 2026, we launched a new project: a slightly crazy adventure that aims to highlight the players in the world of French-speaking board games through a talk show titled Jeu-Dit.

Why Jeu-Dit? Because games speak volumes!

On the show, we're not talking about the latest complex rules, judging whether a release is good, or if the latest Kickstarter is worth backing. No. On Jeu-Dit, we talk about the journey of the people involved in the world of board games: their creative process, their ambitions, the pitfalls and successes of their journey. All in a friendly, human, and relaxed conversation.

Because everyone has a unique story, and it's thanks to these stories that the world of board games is so rich, welcoming, and diverse.

In each episode, we welcome a guest author and a guest media personality (YouTube, podcast, or other gaming content), or a professional from the field, to the TVLaval studios, so they can talk about their profession. The quality of the studio, the technical equipment (cameras, microphones, team), and the guests already make Jeu-Dit a high-quality show, which stands out in the landscape of YouTube and podcast content on French-speaking board games. We are pioneers in this field!

In the first episode, we had the chance to host two extraordinary guests:

  • Marc-Antoine Doyon, author of Flashback and Hantise, CEO of the Festival Ludique International de Montréal and member of the collective Es-tu Game?
